Function:Seeking a Cash Application Specialist to join a national team, but based out of Brea, CA. You will find new and exciting challenges in the Cash Application Specialist role for Walters Wholesale Electrical Co, a leading distributor in electrical products. The major tasks, responsibilities and key accountabilities:Duties

  • Daily posting of payments
  • Reconciliation of branch daily deposits
  • Research and correct "out of balance" accounts
  • Process customer credit card payments
  • Adjust accounts according to direction from various credit departmentsCompetencies
    • Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
    • Ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities with attention to detail, and use of effective interpersonal and communication skills
    • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, manage deadlines, and support initiatives in fast-paced environment
    • Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skillsRequirements
      • High School diploma or equivalent
      • A knowledge of Accounting practices, experience with Microsoft office
      • 1-2 years of prior Cash Management experience preferred
      • Ability to work in a highly transactional environment
      • Attention to detail
      • Strong Customer Service skills
      • Strong sense of urgency and able to organize and prioritize; including handling multiple tasks with strict deadlines
      • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally and succinctly with all levels across the firm
      • Ability to work with a strong sense of accountability, integrity, and ownership
      • Ability to collaborate and contribute in a team environment as well as independently
