Location: Brea, California
Start Date: Apr 22, 2022 The Compensation Analyst is a key member
of the Corporate Total Rewards Team supporting the major
compensation processes including maintenance of compensation
structures and survey administration across the Company. The
Compensation Specialist/Analyst will be responsible for interacting
with external administrators, Human Resources/Compensation teams
across the Company's OpCos and related to the compensation
processes. Additional responsibilities will include extracting data
from a variety of external and internal systems, summarizing in
Excel or other appropriate software, and drawing conclusions.
He/She will also be expected to be able to propose and execute on
possible process improvements that enhance employee experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the company's compensation survey portfolio and the
annual compensation survey participation process. Participate in
the annual compensation survey submission for approved
countries
- Compile global merit budget information, update merit matrix
grid, and model cost impact to the business
- Manage ongoing maintenance and governance of global salary
structures. Review and update salary structures, geographic
differentials as needed. Establish governance policy and process
for changes in job profiles, job levels/families
- Support the relationship with vendors and invoicing for the
compensation team
- Conduct market analysis on specific roles as requested and
advise on appropriate compensation packages
- Provide support with annual pay equity projects globally
- Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and
ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Partner with finance team on forecasting & booking accruals for
the Company's bonus incentive plans
- Support with the Company's annual compensation planning
process
- Maintenance of the Company's system. Ensure all compensation
related data is captured and recorded and audit employee data to
ensure correct mapping of employees
- Assist creating communication materials including presentations
and information packages for HR Business Partners, new hires, and
employees
- Oversee special projects and ad-hoc requests
- Update communication materials and perform analysis as
assigned
- Provide support to global human resources team and managers on
compensation, benefits, and mobility related
questions/issues/projects Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred; a concentration in HR, Finance
or related field is a plus
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in compensation
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Organizing and presenting large data sets using PowerPoint is a
plus
- Experience in data analysis and synthesizing large amounts of
data to identify trends and issues PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Workday HRIS is desirable
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving
skills
- Ability to keep information confidential, work independently
and balance multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Must be team-focused, detail-oriented, and resourceful
- Must be organized and possess strong time and project
