to our inclusive team. As a Contracts Manager - Manager Level 2
(Mid-Level Manager) , located in Redondo Beach, CA you'll be a
linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of
the possible from day one. This position is an Operating Unit
Manager position supporting the Multi-Domain Solutions OU within
the Multi-Domain Operations Division/ Advanced Capabilities
Contracts Business Unit. This position will work a 9/80 schedule,
with every other Friday off. The OU Contracts Manager will be
responsible for leading a team of contracts professionals who will
be strategizing and conducting proposal preparation, contract
negotiations and administration and customer contract activities.
You will ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in
accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements.
Final clearance (TS/SCI) is required in order to start. In this
job, you will: Responsible for personally developing and executing
contractual strategies to support a fast-paced Operating Unit Day
to Day responsibility for supporting dynamic high visibility / high
profile contractual capture initiatives, from pre-capture through
proposal submission and contractual execution Growing and building
a team of professionals Providing advice and counsel to senior
leadership on contractual risks and obligations along with
interpreting terms and conditions Oversee strategy, coordination,
approval, submittal and negotiation of proposals Other duties as
assigned Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of
professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of
professional experience Will consider an additional 4 years of
experience in lieu of degree Contract administration or contract
management experience Leadership experience Experience with MS
Office Suite Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret
security clearance at time of application, current and within
scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access
Preferred Qualifications: Contract administration or contract
management experience in Defense or Aerospace industry People
management experience Experience managing cost-type or firm fixed
price (FFP) procurement contract types, experience with Other
Transactions is a plus Experience with federal government
contracting requirements; FAR/DFAR interpretations Proposal
development experience Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented
Information (SCI) clearance at time of application Soft Skills:

Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 -
$199,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline;
however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when
determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
