Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Estimator to join our preconstruction team in our Wildomar office. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of preparing and leading successful hard bids and a deep understanding of California’s subcontractor market. This is an in-person role for a highly motivated individual ready to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive reviews of bid documents, including drawings, specifications, soils reports, and front-end documents. Lead hard bids valued from $10 million to $100 million . Perform detailed scoping and subcontractor buyout. Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors across: San Diego Los Angeles Inland Empire Central Valley Santa Barbara Collaborate with project teams and leadership to develop competitive, high-quality proposals. Ensure all cost estimates are accurate, complete, and in-line with project goals. Preferred Qualifications: 7–10 years of experience in preconstruction with a general contractor or construction management firm. Proven ability to lead large-scale hard bids. In-depth knowledge of the California subcontractor market. Strong technical understanding of construction means, methods, and materials. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Resides in the Temecula Valley or within approximately one hour of our Wildomar office.
