Job Description:
The Vice President of Underwriting will be responsible for the
leadership and management of a team of underwriters to achieve the
Company's production and quality goals. The ideal candidate must
possess extensive conventional, government and jumbo lending
experience with an in-depth knowledge of mortgage processes.
Additional requirements are a high degree of proficiency with
various mortgage technologies and a dynamic hands-on working style
in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have strong
organizational skills and the ability to manage a large team of
experienced mortgage staff in their day-to-day tasks. Training,
monitoring and maintaining adherence to all underwriting policies
and procedures are also important characteristics of this
individual.
