    Job Summary:The Director, Digital Marketing is responsible for developing concepts and initiatives to drive new customer acquisition, return on ad spend, and increased revenue from digital marketing channels. S/He will oversee a diverse set of projects and initiatives, including direction setting, new tools & processes development, creative design, and testing across all growth channels. This position will lead all media acquisitions including search, display, retargeting, social media, affiliates, mobile, and OOH.
    The ideal candidate is an experienced marketer who is accustomed to leading a team in a digital marketing or growth capacity. S/he is analytical, responsible, and detail-oriented, with the ability to motivate and direct a team on concurrent projects. This role will work closely with the leaders of other cross-functional teams, including design, analytics, retail, and technology.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Lead strategy, forecasting, execution of customer acquisition across all channels
    • Ownership of the Digital Marketing Calendar for all digital customer acquisition channels and integration with the promotion calendar
    • Plan and manage the digital marketing budget allocation
    • Conduct in-depth, data-driven analysis to inform customer acquisition roadmap and prioritization
    • Set performance goals for digital marketing channels and measure the effectiveness of existing traffic acquisition initiatives to identify optimization and grow opportunities across a variety of performance marketing channels
    • Create a test and learn environment to ensure staying on top of industry trends, as well as react quickly to results and formulate action plans to optimize and grow initiatives and channels
    • Collaborate with the tech, design, and analytics team to optimize conversion, including rigorous A/B testing and analytics review
    • Oversee the development of all media creative in partnership with the design team
    • Lead search-engine optimization strategy including driving keyword research, title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, internal page linking, and other strategies to drive higher SEO
    • Collaborate with the BI team on managing a real-time dashboard of operational metrics
    • Ensure that all digital marketing activities are aligned with eCommerce needs and deliver on financial goals and new customer acquisition targets
    • Manage external partners/agencies, negotiating to get the most for our investment and building long-term relationships
      Qualifications & Requirements:
      • Experience managing media budgets and hitting monthly goals for user acquisition, CAC, retention, and other key performance metrics
      • In-depth knowledge of performance media with hands-on experience in Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Email Delivery Software, Paid Social Media Advertising, Mobile and In-App Advertising etc.
      • Intimate experience with ad-serving platforms and digital monitoring solutions
      • Proficient with CPA, LTV, A/B testing, promotional strategy, attribution models, and cohort analysis
      • Hands-on experience managing complex email marketing programs
      • Deep knowledge of complex segmentation decisions and audience analysis across different media and marketing channels
      • Experience building and growing teams
      • Ability to prioritize responsibilities with business objectives
      • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic start-up environment
