Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:

The primary responsibilities of this position include managing a team of service contract administrators and supporting the Service Sales Organization. Manages the performance, overall quality, and resource allocation to support hardware, software, aftermarket product orders and services agreements. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives within the team. Oversee the creation and maintenance of standard work, drive continuous improvement against overall orders, service levels, and revenue targets.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions to complex business issues, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation ensuring solutions are consistent with organization strategic and operational objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop personnel to achieve objectives and personal growth, training to become independently competent in the SCA role as a contributive member of the team.
  • Guides and directs team towards achieving operational goals such as accurate order entry, timely response to requests, achieving action forms, quote, and booking purchase orders deadlines and meeting quality standards.
  • Actively supports company's drive for continuous improvement and is involved in innovative solutions that increase customer allegiance, overall team efficiency and profitability.
  • Consistently provide guidance on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues as well as an understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a point of escalation between the associate and other departments to resolve customer-related issues.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5+years Managerial experience
    • Experience in life sciences industry required.

      Additional Requirements:
      • Contracts management skills strongly preferred
      • Strong analytical, problem solving, presentation, and communication skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build strong and deep working relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple geographical locations
      • Advanced MS Suite skills including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams
      • Monitors and evaluates associate as well as team performance using daily visual management to drive continuous Service Level / quality improvements.
      • Travel 15-25%
