SUMMARYThis position is responsible for a portion of the
Comprehensive Solutions, Energy Services, and Turnkey Contracting
stream's project backlog within the Pacific Southwest Regions
(Hawaii, California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, West Texas). The
Regional Contracting Operations Manager manages all aspects of
assigned projects, with direct responsibility for project execution
and targeted profitability. The Regional Contracting Operations
Manager will lead a team of Project Managers, Project
Administrators, and other fulfillment roles to accomplish specific
objectives in a given period and with available resources. Reports
directly to the Regional Comprehensive Solutions and Energy
Contracting Sales and Operations Leader SCOPEThis position is
responsible for all Pacific Southwest Region Comprehensive
Solutions, Energy Services, and Turnkey Contracting Revenue
currently in a range of $50M to $80M with the goal of over $100M+.
Job is Hybrid in nature both remote, on-site, and in office within
the boundaries of the Pacific Southwest Region. 40%-50% travel is
typical.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be
assigned.
- Plays a key role in delivering Contracting profitability for
the region and achieving specific Operating Plan priorities while
upholding legal and ethical standards.
- Responsible for revenue forecasting accuracy and delivery.
- Directly leads and supervises assigned Contracting fulfillment
personnel.
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns,
implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers
and assigned staff.
- "Owns the Business" by taking action to support the team and
all aspects of managing the business.
- Leads and elevates all team personnel to a higher level of
consistency in regards to standard work, standard process,
forecasting accuracy, job site quality, job site safety,
subcontractor management, and customer management.
- Works closely with other business leaders (Service and
Controls) to ensure a positive working culture amongst respective
teams.
- Reviews and validates contracts and estimates by performing
risk analysis and developing risk plans.
- Leads the team as a safety professional to establish and
maintain a work culture that makes safety priority #1.
- Utilize latest software tools (Procore) and ensure all
fulfillment personnel are utilizing accordingly.
- Using Lean Methods is able to learn, adapt, and implement new
construction tools and processes into the team standard work for
continuous improvement/
- Understands and manages all projects programmatically and
organized.
- Establishes schedules and financial expectations that can be
achieved.
- Ensures that world class quality standards are maintained,
after an order is closed, for contracting process and functions
required for execution and customer satisfaction, including new
equipment, existing building services, and building automation.
- Maintains quality standards by supervising and inspecting job
sites.
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns,
implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers
and staff as needed.
- Responsible for internal communications flow relative to the
operations process.
- Ensures design standards and evaluates risk pre-sale.
- Ability to audit development deliverables and recommend
solutions and build value.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local
regulations.
- Ensures that assigned fulfillment personnel follow all Climate
Solutions EH&S guidelines and policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college with concentrations
in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering.
- At least Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in
leading teams and/or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
- Working knowledge of general Contracting, General Construction,
Energy Services Construction, and multiple specialized trades
including but not limited to Mechanical HVAC, Controls Systems,
Energy Management and Analytics systems, Electrical Systems and
infrastructure, etc;
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment in customer-facing roles
such as Sales or Project Management.
- Computer Skills Proficiency Required (Knowledge of office
equipment, Project management tools such as, but not limited to,
Procore and Microsoft Office products)
- Ability to learn new computer systems and software as required.
- Contracting Licenses is a plus.
Pay Range: $95K to $198K. Total compensation for this role will
include a commission/incentive plan.Disclaimer: This base pay range
is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result
of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is
