ExemptWhat You'll be Responsible For in this RoleThe sales
manager's duties include the supervision of -sales activities and
training programs -of our -for sales reps:
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to
develop and control sales program
- Analyzes individual sales representative's sales to formulate a
plan to assist in reaching of established goals
- Involved in product simplification and standardization to
eliminate unprofitable items from sales line
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote
product
- Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales
related units
- Assists other departments within organization to prepare
manuals and technical publications
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and
potential sales
- Directs product research and development
- Recommends expenditures, and appropriations for research and
development work
- Assists with daily sales problems
- Maintain communications between management and sales
representatives
- Submits Quarterly Evaluation and Activity Report
- Maintains own sales
- Develop new business
- Conduct meetings with their sales team
- Conduct quarterly call reviews with assigned sales person
- Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned
- Has the authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence
of any non-conformity relating to product, process, and quality
system
- To identify and record any problems relating to the product,
process, and quality system
- To initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated
channelsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum -Qualifications:
- Ability to sell and lead a sales organization.
- Four-year degree or five or more years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience preferably within the packaging industry or a related
industryAdditional Required Qualifications
- Ability to sell and lead a sales organization.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to add, subtract, and multiply, and divide. Ability to
use whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs -
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations
- Ability to -effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
- Ability to solve practical problems. Provides leadership,
motivation and positive attitude to all coworkers both in his/her
