A company is looking for a Director - Inland Marine
Underwriting.
Key Responsibilities
Direct all aspects of the underwriting process for a group within a
product line
Develop and execute a marketing plan by targeting new brokers and
attending industry functions
Analyze, evaluate, accept, decline, rate, quote, and bind new or
renewal submissions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field
8 or more years of experience in a similar field or position
Advanced degree preferred
Ability to manage and develop subordinates
Experience in using analytical methods in underwriting
processes
