Our Sales/Marketing, R&D, Corporate Culinary Group, Quality Assurance, Packaging, and Manufacturing teams' partner with our customers to create products that are creative, forward thinking, and delivered with unmatched industry speed.Responsible for ensuring the highest food safety and quality standards of products and regulatory compliance (FDA, FSMA) per industrial and governmental guidelines. Provide technical support and training to different functions, suppliers and customers, and operational needs. Manage food safety and regulatory team to development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Code Certification program. Develop food safety and quality policies, SOPs, etc. which align with the SQF code and improving current programs and implementing new programs.Oversees and maintain food safety and quality systems to assure facility meets all SQF certification and FSMA requirements, including but limited to commitment, document control and records, specifications, food safety and quality, verification, product identification, traceability and recall, food safety fundamentals, establish and implement training needs of personnel, building design and construction, HACCP and pre-requisite programs. Manage, and ensure compliance to third party audits, Internal Audit Schedule, and conduct supplier Audits. Serves as lead during inspections by 3rd party, regulatory agencies. Oversees audit responses and feedback for 3rd party and regulatory audits. Accomplish food safety and quality assurance compliance and objectives by communicating SQF expectations; develop, planning, monitoring, reviewing, and coordinating policies and procedures, validation and verification. Ensure that all Federal and State food legislations are maintained and updated. Manage identity preserve foods such as kosher, organic, non GMO, etc. and customer document portal and requests. Oversees proper documentation from all raw material suppliers to ensure compliance with the company vendor approval program. Lead plant environmental and regulatory compliance efforts, delegating testing, tracking.Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college of technical school) required; Field of Study: Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field. SQF Practitioner status required. Experience: 5 plus years of experience in food processing.-Two years in a manufacturing environment under USDA and/or FDA. Two years facilitating food safety/ quality related training events. EOE
