Supervisor Imaging Services - Cardiac Cath Lab Location: Fullerton, CA Schedule: Full time - 80 Biweekly Hours Shift: 10-hour, Days Under general direction by the Department Director and Area Imaging Manager, and in collaboration with the Medical Director of Radiology, staff radiologists, and other members of the medical staff, the Radiology Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the department and assists the Director and Manager with those management functions for which the Director is accountable. The Radiology Supervisor is technically and clinically competent in radiologic technology for all ages served: infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Demonstrates and adheres to department standards and serves as an administrative and clinical resource for department staff. Clinical and technical responsibilities account worked hours as needed. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, the medical staff and all caregivers. Participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Staff members who treat patients of a specific age group must be aware of the regulatory and accreditation requirements specific to that population. The specific information and skills related to the position presented in this job description include the following age group populations: infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • 3 years Experience in an acute care/hospital radiology department.
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Diagnostic Radiology issued by the state of California.
  • CPR within 6 months of start date.
  • State of California Technologist's Fluoroscopy Permit obtained within 6 months of start date.
  • Must have one of the following: Advanced A.R.R.T. certification in mammography, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine or computed tomography. Preferred Qualifications:
    • Advanced qualifications in at least one specialty imaging area.
