Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse – PACU Location: Fullerton, CA Start Date: 01/13/2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days | 5×8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Weekly Pay: $2,899 Specialty: PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Job Overview A PACU Registered Nurse is needed for an outpatient surgery center adjacent to a main acute-care facility. This role requires strong Phase I and Phase II PACU experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in ophthalmology-focused surgical settings. First-time travelers are welcome. Responsibilities - Provide post-anesthesia nursing care for surgical patients - Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias - Deliver Phase I and Phase II recovery care - Perform pre-op assessments and post-op patient education - Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration - Conduct follow-up phone calls as required - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient recovery - Maintain accurate documentation using electronic charting systems Required Qualifications - Active RN license (California required at submission) - Minimum 1 year of PACU experience - Phase I and Phase II PACU experience required - BLS, ACLS, and PALS required - Experience with pre-op and post-op patient care - Strong skills in cardiac monitoring and IV management • Medical & Health Insurance Benefits from First Day for All Clinical and Patient-Facing Employees./n• 401K Plan./n•"Your Way is Paid" – we pay for ALL employment requirements, onboarding, physicals, titers, etc./n• $300 - $1000 referral bonus.
