Position Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath
Lab Technician Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License for
Circulator role Registered Radiologic Technologist License
Fluoroscopy & ARRT License Certifications: RCIS is not accepted
Must-Have: Cath lab experience Circulating and scrub experience Rad
Tech experience Description: Must have cath lab experience. This
position involves 10-hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for
the role. Unit Information: There are 3 Cath/EP/Hybrid/Structural
Heart rooms. The typical staff consists of 3 per room, including
RNs and Radiologic Technologists. The patient ratio is 3 per case.
Type of equipment includes GE and Philips labs, Mac Lab/Cardiolab
EMR - Meditech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include:
Left and Right heart catheterizations, angioplasty/stenting, IVUS,
ICE, and atherectomy. Also includes atrial fibrillation ablations,
Micra S, ICDs, PM, lead extraction, TAVR, TMVR, tricuspid
procedures, LAAC (Watchman), PFO, and ASD closure. The ideal
candidate enjoys working hard as part of a team and has an upbeat,
positive attitude. Weekends and on-call requirements include 1
weekend per month and 1 night call per week from 3:30 PM.
