Treva is currently seeking a full-time contracted Critical Care Registered Nurse in Palm Springs, CA. This position is available on both days (7:00 am-7:00 pm) and nights (7:00 pm-7:00 am) , 3-12 hour shifts a week and every other weekend. Contract is 9 weeks with high possibility of extension. We offer a competitive pay with benefits available. Job Summary: Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the adult intensive care unit. Evaluates, assesses, and documents the total intensive care nursing process as needed. Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing Must have a current Registered Nurse license in the State of California Must have a minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience Must also possess a current certification and/or training in BLS & ACLS Prefer, NIHSS certification Current immunizations and/or screenings (MMR, DPT, Varicella, HEP B and TB) required You MUST meet all qualifications listed above in order to be considered for this position.
