Description):It is time to take your career to the next level. As a
Licensed Vocational Nurse at Optum, you will be Responsible for
performing patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a
clinician or Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
or Care Team Supervisor (CTS) to ensure safe and appropriate care.
Responsible for performing operational duties as required under the
supervision of the site administrator or designee.What Work Will
- Schedule: full-time, 5 days/week
- Location: Fullerton, CA
- Setting: Ambulatory/Outpatient Clinic
- Specialty(ies): Urology
- Non-exempt / hourlyWhat's required?
- 1 or 2 years of post-high school education or a degree from a
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Current California LVN license.
- I.V. therapy and phlebotomy certification required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA)- (100% online
certification is not acceptable).
- Up to and including 1 year of experience.
- You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients
and members on site, as this is an essential function of this
- Employees are required to screen for symptoms using a
UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the
work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees
must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition,
when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to
wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be

- Previous experience as an LVN in an ambulatory care setting and
specialty areas such as urology.If you need to enter a work site
for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using
the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e.,
entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth
Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any
