Job Description:

Looking for a responsible person to pet sit when I'm on vacation. My current pet sitter of 20 years is relocating so I'm looking for someone to fill some big shoes as my go-to person.

I have 2 (fairly low maintenance) cats who would need food, water and a little play time every day.

The home is in Fullerton and I'm offering $20 per visit. I live in a townhouse so my home has some stairs, and free guest parking is available.

3 Requests
1- Give 1 can of wet food a day, plus top off their dry food. Play with the cats (if they desire) for a little bit and reward them with a treat.

2- There is an automatic litter robot that requires some monitoring, like checking if the waste bin is full or the litter box needs more litter.

While you don't need to clean the litter box daily (ie: no scooping!) the litter robot fills up every 5 to 6 days, so you may have to change the bag at least once. You will need to carry the full bag, which weighs about 3 pounds, to the trash can located in the garage.

3- There's also a drinking fountain that just needs to be topped off every 3 or 4 days when it's low.

My 2 cats:
The orange tabby boy is 7 years old, very loving and likes neck and chin scratches. The tortie girl is 4 years old and initially will need to warm up to you, but once she does, she is a bit bossy and demands your attention as well.

Other than that...
If there's an unlikely package like UPS/ FedEx outside my patio, I would appreciate it if you could bring it inside. No watering of plants required, unless it's some extremely heat wave outside.

Visit times are flexible, but ideally I would like that you to come in the mornings, like before noon. I would prefer if you came by yourself and not bring friends / family members. I don't want to add extra stress to the cats.

To clarify, I would give you ample notice to make sure that you are available for certain dates before committing to this job.

You will not be spending the night at my home. This is a daily visit where you feed, water, play with my cats, and check on the litter robot. Realistically, it should be a 30 minutes visit.

Venmo or Apple Pay is my preferred way to pay.

References from current or past clients are appreciated. If you don't have insurance as a pet sitter, a copy of your license or some sort of identification will be requested.
