Job Description:

Baked Goods Manufacturing Company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Team Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The QA Team Supervisor will report to the QA Manager and be responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance team, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining the highest standards for our products and processes.Shift-9am to 6pmSalary-$65k-75k+bonusThis job will have the following responsibilities:
Supervise the QA team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
Administer and develop the necessary structures and processes to manage current activities and projected growth related to raw materials, production quality, packaging, and project implementation.
Execute and enforce Food Safety, HACCP, FDA, and labeling policies to guarantee compliance with industry standards.
Ensure that all production and packaging areas surpass all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety requirements.
Take charge of regulatory compliance as it pertains to Manufacturing and Warehouse operations.
Manage the QA department in the absence of the QA Manager.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other relevant documents.
Maintain the quality and consistency of all products through rigorous inspection and analysis.
Propose improvements and changes to manufacturing equipment and processes, aligning with effective operations and cost factors.
Apply Total Quality Management (TQM) tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within the plant and warehouse.
Analyze statistical data and product specifications to ensure the quality and reliability of finished products.
Conduct testing and analysis of finished products and raw materials.
Provide valuable insights and suggestions for product and plant improvement.Requirements/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a life science or food technology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food processing environment, with increasing responsibilities and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
HACCP is required, PCQI Preferred
Strong oral communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in all situations.
Excellent written communication skills, capable of presenting information effectively and accurately.
Solid business acumen, understanding the implications of decisions and aligning work with strategic goals.
