Description:Position Summary:The DSD Excellence Express Deployment Specialist will work with local sales and cross functional teams to assess and support efforts to achieve full market saturation potential in Express channels, develop project plans, participate in planning sessions, as well as establish tasks and a timeline for achieving the target saturation rate for the selected core markets. They are responsible for managing and developing solutions to support these efforts. They build the local team capabilities through coaching, through the monitoring and tracking of key standards and metrics and identifying solutions that their drive continuous improvement. The Deployment Specialist must be a highly motivated individual with sales and project management background, and leads with behaviors that encourage innovation, change, and teamwork.Key Job Responsibilities:Mindsets & BehaviorsEmbrace, embody, and lead Direct Store Delivery Excellence (DSDE) best practices and act upon the vision and values of Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU).Exemplify the characteristics of BBU and its brands and extend those brand values through daily activities and leadership in the workplace.Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement to include the development of self, teams, and work processes that result in constructive change. Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead and coach the local teams to effectively run and utilize the DSDE processes and tools.Ensure BBU Way to Sell and BBU Way to Operate standards are being followed, through process and tool utilization.Coordinate and manage project timelines, encompassing both overall sales operations and location-specific schedules while ensuring alignment with local teams.Engage in weekly meetings at specific locations to guarantee timely task completion. Manage and develop tools to achieve sustainable saturation in Express channels.Identify risks and develop mitigation plans against them. Coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams to align on and achieve market goals.Support and/or Execution of the deployment team during all project stages by partnering with the local team without removing accountability.Coach and serve as subject matter expert for all soliciting technology and tools for growth.Maintain a detailed line of communication with leadership, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of project updates, performance trends, and emerging opportunities.#LI-JC1 Position Requirements:Key Behavioral Competencies:Must have the ability and experience to influence the frontline, sales leadership, and insight stakeholders; independently and collaboratively with sales, marketing, customer, or supply chain team to pursue the BBU vision for growth.Ability to support established project objectives, checkpoints and timelines and lead team members to meet project tasks and expectations. Ability to exchange complex information effectively to reach agreement in ambiguous or difficult situations to create an actionable plan. Ability to effectively lead process change to implement new processes.Possesses strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented attitude that extends to both internal and external interactions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills and can interact at all levels of the organization.
Strong knowledge of BBU ordering and operational systems is a plus. Proficient in report creation, simplifying technical content for non-technical audiences, and using both remote and in-person presentation tools. Education and Work History:Bachelor's degree in business management or marketing is preferred. A combination of education, training and DSD sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted. The ideal candidate will possess:5-7+ years of experience in project management, market development, process analysis, distribution, training, or DSD sales development role. Strong computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required, as well as proficiency with data analysis, training material creation and developing and managing soliciting tools.Proven knowledge of growth opportunities in the express-format channelUnderstanding of express-format DSD structures and operations is a plus.Demonstrate resourcefulness in identifying ways to sustainably grow and improve the business in partnership with the local sales teams.Ability to leverage information to understand and develop effective business strategies with cross-functional alignment.Bilingual English/Spanish language is a plus.Travel is required, 90%
