Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder Inpatient.
Key Responsibilities
Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from
various medical records
Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure
codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and document
productivity in specified systems
Required Qualifications
2+ years of coding experience in an acute care setting
Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding
Certificate Program
CCS credential required
Experience working with CDI nurses
Meditech and 3M experience preferred
