Job Title: Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator I - Delivery

OneSource's VMI Coordinator is an individual contributor that delivers and sets up inventory at customer's designated sites. This position performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in storing, distributing and order fulfillment of products, supplies and equipment.

What you'll do:

* Drives company commercial vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a safe manner and in compliance with all State and Federal DOT standards and regulations
* Ensures vehicle and equipment are clean and safe, per current policy and procedure
* Responsible for safety of public while operating company vehicles. Follows guidelines for use of all equipment and safety inspection and reporting requirements
* Checks goods distribution against purchase orders or shipping documents to ensure accuracy
* Stocks product in the customer's designated area
* Scans barcodes to generate customer replenishment orders
* Conducts inventory cycle counts per Supply Chain Services processes
* 5S all VMI point of use areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality between visits
* Perform VMI functions at vending point of use areas: loading, receiving, and minor repair or updates. Communicate with customer's local team, OneSource Supply Chain Services and sales teams
* Ensure bar code labels are up to date and legible for scanners to read. Request new labels or issues to Supply Chain Services team timely to mitigate delay or inaccuracies
* Assist customer with space & placement of goods, setting up area to receive material
* Maintain awareness of minimum/maximum, reorder point levels and report observations or customer feedback to Supply Chain Services team as needed
* Present information and respond to requests from customers or other OneSource team members
* Support the branch strategy and mission of "Employer of Choice" which also aligns with the overall Company strategic plan, support Company initiatives through day-to-day actions.
* Perform all assigned duties in a professional and ethical manner per OneSource current policies and procedures
* Other duties and/or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required

High school diploma or G.E.D; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training

Experience with CribMaster hardware, CribMaster ATR software and Innovo Stockroom software preferred, but not required

Equivalent combination of education and experience

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License and clean abstract

Meet DOT Physical requirements

Must be a self-starter

Must demonstrate good time management skills

Must demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner

Must possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution

Must have the ability to establish strong working relationships

Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Basic computer skills

Good verbal and written communication skills
