Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Freight Planner to optimize
transportation networks and manage carrier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage dispatch and tracking of shipments using Trello
Build and onboard carrier partners while monitoring their
performance
Conduct analysis to identify freight savings opportunities and
resolve issues swiftly
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in freight planning or
logistics
Experience with freight brokers or Third-Party Logistics providers
preferred
Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS),
preferably MercuryGate
Strong knowledge of lane rating methodologies and freight
forecasting
Understanding of various transportation modes and their market
dynamics
