Job DescriptionThe Role: Quality Assurance Specialist Orora MPP in Fullerton Ca is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support with administering the company’s quality management system to ensure excellent quality standards are meet before delivering exceptional packaging solutions for our customers.The Quality Control Specialist will coordinate with the Regional Vice President, Division Managers, and the National Quality Manager in the deployment of continuous improvement recommendations, strategies, and assignments.What You’ll be Responsible For in this RolePursuit of Excellence (POE) · Drives efficiency improvement efforts at each division within region, and across divisions. Coordinates with Regional Vice President, Division Managers, and the National Quality Manager in the deployment of Continuous Improvement/POE projects/assignments.· Leads POE projects to successful completion using team facilitation, process analyses, problem solving, coaching techniques, statistical tools and software.· Trains coworkers on how to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control metrics efforts include Best Known Methods standardization and training (see below), and ensuring that all changes fit into our ISO Registered Quality Systems. ISO 9001 · Acts as the primary point of connection within region, responsible for maintenance, improvement, documenting, and auditing of the ISO9001 registered Quality System, including ALL facets of the Standard requirements.KPI Improvement · Just like POE projects above, leads KPI improvement teams and projects to successful completion using team facilitation, process analyses, problem solving, coaching techniques, statistical tools and software.· Trains coworkers on how to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control KPI metrics.Best Known Methods (BKM) · Through the above three activities, ensures standardization of Best Known Methods (best practices) across the business group (Distribution), by working with peers to document, publish, and educate co-workers on system changes/improvements, especially as they relate to KPI’s, ISO processes/procedures, and Continuous Improvement/KPI improvement processes. Process Improvement and Standardization· Implement 5S Program for warehouse preparation to replace current aisle audit process.· Map business processes within divisions and throughout region; focusing on work-cell optimization and standardized work.· Review ISO business processes and supporting compliance efforts; make recommendation for improvements.· Manage the corrective action process for the region; Document issues into CAPA system.· Develop, measure, and track KPI for standardized processes.· Maintains administrator records and prepare statistical performance reports. Minimum Qualifications:· Bachelor’s in business administration or related field· 3-5 years of Quality/ISO experience· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Project, PowerPoint).· Advanced understanding of the principles of quality assuranceAdditional Preferred Qualifications:· Demonstrated experience and application of root cause analysis, issue trending, and Pareto Analysis experience working in SAP ERP environment.· Considerable experience driving operational transformation by creating and developing high performing teams and aligning key stakeholders with business objectives. Ideally within highly matrixed organizations· Accomplished in making significant improvements on key metrics such as safety and quality· Proven track record of being able to bring a company to scale· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and leading through influence· A hands-on, results-oriented approach to business with a ‘can-do’ attitude· Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills· Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities and problem-¬solving skills· Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with business and technology leaders· Possess a ‘customer first’ attitude; demonstrate passionate commitment for the customer and product quality Reasonable AccommodationsReasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
