Job Description Financial Services Representative/Member Services Representative (Part-time) - The Credit Union Difference PacTrans Federal Credit Union was founded in 1939 by employees of Southern Pacific Railroad as a way to provide affordable financial services to their co-workers and families. Today PacTrans FCU serves more than 6,000 members including Union Pacific, Amtrak, MV Transportation, Fault Line, LLC, P&B employees, and their family members. We currently have an opening for a Part-time Financial Services Representative/Member Service Representative (approximately 20 hours per week) in our Fullerton Branch. Credit Union, banking or cash handling experience required. Role: Under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor assists in meeting branch financial, operational, sales, service and growth goals. In the absence of the Operations Supervisor, assumes responsibility of the branch. Assists members and potential members with their credit union needs; explains services, opens new accounts, responds to inquiries and concerns. Processes member loan requests. -- Assists members with opening and closing accounts, cash deposits and disbursements. Answers questions in regard to Credit Union products and services; resolves problems within their authority. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to the next level supervisor with their recommendations. -- Assists members in person, via telephone and online. Answers phones within 3 rings. -- Assures that appropriate member records are maintained and required reports are prepared. -- Identifies cross---sell opportunities and cross---sells Credit Union products and services to achieve cross-sales goals and objectives. Proactively participates in outbound calling campaigns and assists team members with sales campaigns. -- Provides assistance to Financial Services Representatives with questions, inquiries and technical issues. -- Processes member loan applications in person, online or via telephone, consistent with Credit Union procedures. Adheres to Credit Union policies, procedures and guidelines as well as regulations. Identifies and provides input to improve the department's operating methods and procedures. Funds member loan applications. -- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Pay commensurate with experience. Job Type: Part-time COVID-19 considerations: The credit union provides PPE for all staff. Barriers are placed in front of each FSR stations, social distancing and other CDC recommendations are practiced.
