From personalized service to professional education programs and marketing support, Ormco is committed to helping orthodontists achieve their clinical and practice management objectives.**Operating Company:**Ormco**Job Description:****SUMMARY**The Sale Training Development Specialist is responsible for training development and learning system management for the Ormco Sales team of North America. This role is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions, which includes the sales onboarding and on-going/advanced training of all Ormco curriculum. This role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to build the sales training to achieve the learning objectives. Deliverables include creative and effective learning tools and environments (virtual and in-person; effective technology deployment to advance the learning experience, on-going program which includes training session calendar, content and tool audits, and advancing the learning environment for our Ormco team. This role also provides technical leadership in the support of Ormco's learning management system (LMS). As the primary LMS administrator, this role oversees the installation of all system updates and upgrades, as well as tools and software integrated with the LMS. Work is performed under the supervision of the Sr. Manager of Sales Training & Enablement.**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Implement the training strategy and plan for the Ormco Sales team that supports our growth initiatives+ Build-upon the Ormco Learning System to build product and selling expertise of Sales team+ Build-upon New Hire Training Curriculum and Advanced Skills Training+ Partner cross-functionally (marketing, sales operations, sales) to develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of strategic initiatives and business priorities+ Leverage creative adult learning techniques in both development and delivery of content+ Works on assignments dealing with the routine and daily operation, use, and configuration of the LMS+ Create tools and "aids" to help in mastery of analytics, territory management and CRM tools+ Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems+ Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security and integrity of systems/networks+ Writes and maintains technical procedures and policy documentation+ Collaborates with the HR Business Partner on training needs and opportunities for the expansion of talent development within the organization+ Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training and measure performance to meet organizational objectives+ Creates and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use the technology for online and professional development+ Design detailed training plans defining instructional objectives, learning activities, and evaluation strategies customized to the specific needs of a given audience+ Develop impactful didactic training materials and resources to support product, procedure, and system training needs+ Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to develop training materials based on needs analysis of current and future state business process and procedures+ Drive training program changes that will enhance quality of the sales training program and improve time to competency+ Work with internal creative group and external vendors to develop electronic assets such as animations, videos, and self-paced eLearning modules+ Closely monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure training programs achieve instructional objectives and support business goals**Job Requirements:****REQUIREMENTS:** ? - Education: Bachelor's degree from?a?four-year college or university.?? - Experience: Minimum number of 5+ years in sales training at healthcare company or equivalent - Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences. Ability to take complex topics and make them simple and digestible - Proficient in Microsoft office programs and LMS administration - Strong technical and analytical skills - Travel: Estimated overnight travel is less than 10%**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** ? - Education: Masters degree in Curriculum/Instructional Design/Learning Technologies or related - Experience: Orthodontic and/or dental experience is beneficial but not required.
