Job Description Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to
the Senior Director of Programs, the Manager of Specialty Programs
& Projects (MSPP) will oversee the planning and execution of all
aspects of the College Preparation, Access and Completion (CPAC)
program and special projects that support all programs at BBBSLA.
They will provide support for the development, implementation, and
delivery of BBBSLA's Specialty Programs, as well as strategic
oversight on the program management team. This role will support
the development of strategic partnerships to build and deliver
program outcomes and goals. The MSPP will provide supervision to
the team who is providing direct case management to their
caseloads. Finally, this role is responsible for leading and
managing projects that are unique, complex, or strategically
important to the Programs team. This is a full-time, benefits
eligible, hybrid work position with a mix of virtual and in-office
work. The position also requires travel for face-to-face meetings

Manage and oversee all aspects of the College PAC (Preparation,
Access, Completion) program and additional Specialty Programs, as
assigned, in collaboration with BBBSLA leadership and program team
members Manage the development of strategies that help sustain
mentees, mentors and parents' involvement with BBBSLA in their
Specialty Programs. Act as liaison with program partners and the
BBBS National office for program activities. Ensure the successful
recruitment and onboarding of match participants, working in
conjunction with CPAC Coordinators annually. Responsible for
maintaining Specialty Programs data systems reflecting goals,
completions, and overall progress. Evaluate and analyze program
outcomes to improve model and service delivery. Oversee the
creation of a library with support services in areas of career
exploration, academic support, personal guidance, life skills and
professional development executed by Program Coordinators. Ensure
high-level proficiency and good judgment in applying child safety
and risk management knowledge, policies and procedures throughout
all aspects of job function. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager
on all media and entertainment opportunities, and video or other
story telling opportunities for Specialty Programs. Share with
development and/or marketing staff any potential partnership
relationships as discovered through mentors, parents' employers and
affiliations. Steward and cultivate strategic partnerships to bring
in outside resources to deliver workshops, activities, tours, and
other sessions for program enhancements, as well as program funding
Steward and cultivate strategic partnerships with colleges and
universities, community colleges, trade schools, and high schools
Oversee the design and delivery of College PAC's Launch Day event
focused on preparing mentees at different stages of their academic
experience, along with their mentors and parents, to be prepared
for college access and completion during the summer. Oversee and
administrate the distribution of scholarships, internships,
resources and enrichment opportunities for mentees in Specialty
Programs. Manage WIE alumnae scholarship funds in collaboration
with BBBSLA leadership and CPAC staff to ensure all obligations are
met. Identify and promote re-engagement of mentors and mentees as
Bigs, board members, donors and in other volunteer capacities. In
collaboration with the Sr. Director of Programs, enhance impact
driven data tracking and evaluation. This includes tools needed to
measure outcomes in reports for grants (monthly reports, data
tracking, surveys etc.) Partner with team members across programs
to ensure programmatic and government grant outcomes are monitored
and met. Participate in all Agency staff and team meetings. Perform
other duties as assigned by agency leaders. Management and
Supervision Ensure proper management & training so program
deliverables are met effectively and efficiently. Provide coaching
and training to ensure that the Specialty Programs' team members
demonstrate the ability to apply social work competencies of
strength-based and culturally competent assessment, planning,
referral and linkage - and crisis intervention to ensure that
potential problems and barriers are identified and addressed as
early as possible. Oversee and improve strategic interventions to
identify and strengthen match relationships that require crisis
intervention as well as challenging areas of the program. Manage
system ensuring performance measures and metrics, match length and
that mentor, mentee and family satisfaction are met. Ensure that
PTO, expense reimbursements, timesheets and mileage of Specialty
Programs' team members are completed in a timely manner. Manage and
continuously train Specialty Programs team so that they know to
assess individual needs for each mentee, mentor and family, to
assure a positive development experience for the youth and
successful and satisfying experience for the volunteer. Ensure that
through scheduled in-person and telephone contact, Specialty
Programs' team members ascertain that the elements of child safety,
match relationship development, positive youth development and
volunteer satisfaction are fulfilled, and that potential problems
and barriers are identified and addressed as early as possible.
Promptly notify supervisor regarding concerns, which may negatively
influence the match. Develop and implement processes to ensure
timely completion of grant deliverables, budgets, reports and
administrative tasks. Quality Assurance & Training In collaboration
with Senior Program Director and other team members, assist team in
the development and facilitation of professional development
trainings for staff and topic specific training for mentors,
mentees and families. Apply the BBBSA Quality Assurance process to
appropriate percentage of matches per quarter. Specialty Projects
Responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of important
initiatives and projects across programs. Identify project goals,
objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration
with Sr. Director of Programs and other team members. Support the
establishment of new programs and partnerships in collaboration
with Sr. Director of Programs and other team members The above

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,
skill, and/or ability required (KSA's): Bachelor's Degree required.
Master's Degree preferred. (MSW, MFT, or social service field)
Minimum of three-five years supervisory experience in social
services setting. Possess working knowledge of local children's
social support services and national/local reporting protocol or
child abuse/child safety issues. Must be able to develop/maintain
effective partnerships/relationships with community constituents,
corporate executives, non-profit groups, private individuals, and
BBBSLA employees. Strong project management skills including
planning, executing, and successfully completing projects within
allotted timeline and budget. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
COMPETENCIES: Strategic planning and program implementation.
Clinical assessment and case management experience. Analysis and
decision making. Planning, organizing and creativity. Team
management, customer service, action-oriented and excellent
communication. Research, presentation and computer literacy skills.
Possess assessment and relationship development experience with
children and adults. Excellent time management and organization
